Title of program: OPTICS Catalogue Id: ABOU_v1_0 Nature of problem OPTICS performs non-relativistic calculations of differential cross sections and vector and tensor polarization analysing powers for the elastic scattering of a particle of spin s=0, 1/2 or 1 from a particle whose spin is ignored. Scattering data are analysed in terms of an optical model potential including spin orbit coupling (for s=1/2, 1) and an optional compound-elastic cross section calculation.
