Calculation of long traces of γ-matrices in the dimensional regularization scheme

Abstract We describe the program DTRACE that is capable of calculating products of traces of γ-matrices in d dimensions. DTRACE gives the result in a form suitable as input for algebraic manipulation programs. Title of program: DTRACE Catalogue Id: ACBX_v1_0 Nature of problem The calculation of multi-particle cross section involves the calculation of long traces of Dirac matrices. Even symbolic manipulation programs are not capable of doing this because of the large number of terms.
