Description

Abstract Computer generated holograms are usually generated using commercial software like MATLAB, MATHCAD, Mathematica, etc. This work is an approach in doing the same using freely distributed open source packages and Operating System. A Fourier hologram is generated using this method and tested for simulated and optical reconstruction. The reconstructed images are in good agreement with the objects chosen. The significance of using such a system is also discussed. Title of program: FHOLO Catalogue Id: AEDS_v1_0 Nature of problem To generate a Fourier Hologram in micro computer only by using open source Operating system and packages. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data AEDS_v1_0; FHOLO; 10.1016/j.cpc.2009.04.014 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
