Two programs for calculations of collisional atomic data for lithium beam plasma spectroscopy

Abstract Rate coefficients for various inelastic processes of monoenergetic Li atoms colliding with electrons and protons with Maxwellian velocity distribution are calculated from cross sections represented by multiparameter fit formulas. These rate coefficients are required for modelling the behaviour of an energetic neutral Li beam penetrating the edge of magnetically confined plasmas for thermonuclear fusion research.
