Title of program: GENBIN, PATERN Catalogue Id: ACCR_v1_0 Nature of problem GENBIN - generates a complete list of basis functions, represented as binary strings, of a partition of U(n) x SU(m). PATERN - determines the positions of differing entries in two binary strings generated by GENBIN. This is done for the analysis of complex spectra using the unitary group methods.
