Title of program: LINE, BESSEL AND TRANSLATE Catalogue Id: AABW_v1_0 Nature of problem The usual hypercubic formulation of lattice gauge theory may be improved by an alternative formulation of the theory on a body-centred hypercubic (BCH) lattice. We describe a vectorized implementation of the Monte Carlo algorithm for calculating Wilson lines and average plaquettes for an SU(2) gauge theory on a BCH lattice.
