Description

Abstract We review the main features of a statistical model for nuclear multifragmentation, which has been widely used over the last years. The implementation of the model is discussed and the use of the corresponding Fortran code is explained. Title of program: SMM Catalogue Id: ADOM_v1_0 Nature of problem The breakup of excited nuclei into many pieces of intermediate sizes is described through a statistical model which assumes prompt breakup of a thermalized system. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data ADOM_v1_0; SMM; 10.1016/S0010-4655(01)00209-0 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
