Integration of Vlasov equation by a fast Fourier Eulerian code

Abstract A program computing the Vlasov-Poisson system in one dimension is presented. The method is based on time splitting, exact solution of the resulting equations and shift in phase space by FFT. Title of program: VLFF Catalogue Id: ABHD_v1_0 Nature of problem We look for a solution of the one dimensional Vlasov-Poisson system for a non collisional spatially periodic plasma, starting from an initial condition, here a two stream distribution function or an n holes BGK equilibrium, slightly perturbed.
