Description

Abstract I describe a computer program that numerically estimates the density of states of the three-dimensional Ising model. The program runs at a speed of 110 million spin updates per second on a 2 pipe CDC Cyber 205 and 233 million updates per second on an ETA-10. Title of program: MICRO Catalogue Id: ABHR_v1_0 Nature of problem The density of states for each energy is estimated by finding the relative frequencies of each energy using a microcanonical approach. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data ABHR_v1_0; MICRO; 10.1016/0010-4655(89)90036-2 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
