Description

Title of program: STRIMP Catalogue Id: AAFS_v1_0 Nature of problem The code computes the stationary radial profiles for each impurity stage of ionization and/or their time evolution, taking into account diffusion, ionization and recombination processes occuring in each point of the plasma of a tokamak discharge. This code can be connected with a transport code in order to study the influence of the impurities (e.g. C,O,Fe,...) on the plasma parameters or it can be used to interpret the results of some diagnostic experiments. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data AAFS_v1_0; STRIMP; 10.1016/0010-4655(86)90026-3 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
