Title of program: F1REGU Catalogue Id: AABX_v1_0 Nature of problem Fredholm integral equations of the first kind arise in the mathematical analysis of many physical problems. An important characteristic of such problems is that the information which we seek about a physical quantity A can only be obtained indirectly, by measuring some other quantity B which has some connection with A. Often, this connection can be expressed mathematically in terms of a Fredholm first kind integral equation.
