Description

Title of program: MODST Catalogue Id: ACDF_v1_0 Nature of problem One of the main problems in solving partial differential equations using finite difference methods is the evaluation of various properties of a finite difference algorithm such as order of accuracy, consistency and particularly stability. These problems must almost always be solved by hand. Using the analytical programming language REDUCE 2, the program determines the above properties of finite difference algorithms for simple partial differential equations. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data ACDF_v1_0; MODST; 10.1016/0010-4655(84)90169-3 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
