Description

Abstract A program is provided which solves the Bethe-Salpeter equation for meson fields which are bound in the background field of a localized soliton configuration. To this end the energy and the properly normalized wave-function of the bound state are obtained by identifying the vanishing eigenvalue of the bilocal Bethe-Salpeter kernel. Special care is taken to minimize the computational time needed to obtain the bound state energy. Title of program: bpwave Catalogue Id: ACVC_v1_0 Nature of problem The program calculates the bound state energy of a P-wave kaon fluctuation in the background field of the chiral soliton in the Nambu- Jona-Lasinio model [1]. Also the bound state wave-function is evaluated and normalized to carry unit strangeness charge [2].
