Title of program: BOREAS Catalogue Id: ACFK_v1_0 Nature of problem The purpose of BOREAS is to calculate ideal fluid dynamics with shocks. A one-dimensional hydrodynamic model based on the mass, momentum and total energy conservation laws is used. Optionally a gravitational force field may be taken into account and the equation of the total energy conservation may be replaced by the pressure equation.
