Description

Abstract This document describes an integrated package of parton density functions called PDFLIB, which has been added to the CERN Program Library Pool W999 and is labelled as W5051. In this package all the different sets of parton density functions of the nucleon, the pion and the photon which are available today (about 100 different sets) have been put together. All these sets have been combined in a consistent way such that they all have similar calling sequences and no external data files have to ... Title of program: PDFLIB, version 3.10 Catalogue Id: ACLI_v1_0 Nature of problem All theoretical calculations of cross sections involving the hadronic structure of the incoming particles, i.e. protons, pions or photons, use the parton density at a given longitudinal momentum X of the parton and at a given momentum transfer Q^2. There is a variety of parametrisations available. But each of them has its own structure for input and/or output. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data ACLI_v1_0; PDFLIB, version 3.10; 10.1016/0010-4655(93)90051-D This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
