Abstract A suite of programs for the numerical simulation of two wave mixing processes in sillenite crystals is presented. The interacting waves are assumed to possess arbitrary amplitude and/or phase profiles in two spatial dimensions as well as arbitrary polarization states. Several documented program tests demonstrate the capabilities of the suite, including the handling of waves slowly modulated in time. Title of program: TWM Catalogue Id: ADDD_v1_0 Nature of problem An approach to dynamic holography with non plane waves in sillenite crystals based on geometric optics ideas is presented. The temporal development of the hologram is divided in "reading" (diffraction of the light at the fixed holographic grating) steps and "writing" (buildup of the refractive index grating under fixed illumination) steps and pursued towards the stationary state via a relaxation procedure. The reading equations are solved numerically using a twodimensional RUNGE-KUTTA scheme.
