Abstract LOCFES provides automated estimation of the rate of convergence of the source iteration and the order of accuracy, i.e., the discretization error, of an arbitrary closed linear one-cell functional (CLOF) method used in solving the linear, steady-state, monoenergetic and azimuthally symmetric neutral-particle transport equation in one-dimensional plane-parallel geometry.
